User access to cluster resources has been temporary prevented in order to software renewal and architecture changes that will provide faster performance and greater reliability. Functionality will resume as soon after critical fixes and new features become avaliable.
Hardware and software update was performed on the cluster:
Five new computing nodes have been added
- 1 node 2-way 4-core Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5355 2.66GHz
- 4 nodes 2-way 2-core Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz
Storage array have been added
OS upgrade to Fedora Core 7.
Cluster infrastructure have been reorganized
Now system is under testing. We plan to launch cluster into production till September the 1-st.
