Cluster now

Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University computing cluster belongs to the BEOWULF-type heterogeneous clusters. System consists of 22 dual-processor nodes based on Intel® Pentium-III 933MHz and 1GHz, Intel® Xeon 2.4GHz and Intel® Xeon® EM64T 3.2ÃÃö. Gigabit Ethernet is used for high speed and service interconnect. Cluster works under Linux operating system on teh base of Fedora Core 1 òà 3 distributions with kernel 2.4.x and 2.6.x. Each node of computing cluster hasas much as possibly identical structure of directories and contains the identical set of software installed into the same directories. The main programming model is distributed memory but insde each node shared memory is also supported.
